I joined flinder in February 2021. I qualified at a small general practice in London, then moved to flinder to broaden my experience with exposure to larger, fast-growth businesses.

I was fortunate coming into an established pod structure and managing a team of eight, 50:50 onshore and offshore.

What shined through from day one is the collaborative and team-centred approach both in my pod and in the wider team. The approach works well in a consistently growing team – no matter where you sit in the business, there's consistently valuable upward and downward communication and your voice is heard.

I'd say I’m always learning from my peers and the senior team. Particularly Luke, our COO, always has a positive impact on the business and it's refreshing to see the drive for consistent improvements.

I’ve also learned key commercial elements from our Fractional CFOs, from delivering on our Tech & SaaS portfolio clients.

I genuinely do think it's a very interesting journey with our start-up clients, watching them from early stages and supporting their growth. Personally, it was a steep learning curve at the start but I really enjoy this element and still do, where no two days are ever the same.
